Job Descriptiion
Signature Automation is seeking a mid to senior level IT / OT Network and Server specialist. Responsibilities include supporting, troubleshooting, and consulting with external clients and internal staff. Candidate must have excellent verbal and documentation skills and extensive knowledge and experience with virtualization, networking, and cybersecurity best practices. The ideal candidate for this position must possess Cisco and VMware certification or be in the final stages of completing these certifications.
 

Responsibilities Include:

• Analysis of existing physical network and computer systems infrastructure.
• Perform network and security assessments on client environments.
• Development of detailed technical documentation such as Visio drawings, engineering reports; plans & specifications.
• Configuration, programming and commissioning of network switches, routers, firewalls, and virtualized VMware environments.
• Develop and Implement Backup and Disaster Recovery Procedures.
• Provide mentorship for junior IT / OT staff.
• Develop training curricula and conduct training and support for end clients.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access etc.) expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Cisco CCNA certification required or 2 to 5 years supporting networks with knowledge of V-LANs and routing protocols.
• MCSE certification required or 5 years supporting desktop and server infrastructure including active directory, group policy objects, etc.
• VMware certification required or 2 to 5 years supporting VMWare or HyperV environments.
• Firewalls - Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto - 2 to 5 years’ experience in configuration of any of the aforementioned devices
• Ability to travel up to 20%
• Must be available to work in Signature Automation's Dallas, TX office.
